A lecture to be held in the foyer before the Tosca performance starts

If you’re going to watch Giacomo Puccini's opera Tosca on March 24, please arrive earlier to take part in an educational event. Within the project Half an Hour Before the Premiere, Lyudmila Gavrilova will deliver a lecture in the second floor foyer.

Lyudmila Gavrilova is the head of the Music History Department at the Hvorostovsky Siberian Institute of Arts, Doctor of Art History, member of the Union of Composers of Russia. Lyudmila Vladimirovna is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. The art historian will tell the audience how Floria Tosca, one of the most popular operas in the world, was created, about the composer and the concept of the production. Spectators will have the opportunity to ask her questions.

Lyudmila Vladimirovna’s fascinating stories are already known to fans of music shows thanks to the project Half an Hour Before the Premiere: she talked about Oleg Prostitov’s ballet The Black Man and Vincenzo Bellini’s opera I Capuleti E I Montecchi.
