Darya Ryabinko’s opening performance at the Chaliapin Opera Festival

Darya Ryabinko took part in the opening performance of “Nabucco” by Verdi directed by the American director Yefim Meisel. The XXXVI Chaliapin Opera Festival was opened in the Tatar State academic opera and ballet theatre named after Musa Jalil with this performance. Our soloist sang the role of Fenena, Nabucco’s younger daughter.

“I’m greatly honoured to represent Krasnoyark at such a significant festival. And I always emphasize the fact that I am a Krasnoyarsk citizen and I work at the Krasnoyarsk theatre”, - Darya Ryabinko says. “I believe it’s far from disturbing my work - on the contrary it significantly helps me manage my job. After taking part in such events I enjoy taking, so to say, my “near and dear” stage”.

Besides, on February 4 the Siberian soloist sings the role of Maddalena in the “Rigoletto” opera By Verdi.

Chaliapin Opera Festival is one of the oldest Russian opera festivals. This year it’s dedicated to the 145th birthday anniversary of Feodor Chaliapin. From the 1st to the 22nd of February 13 performances and concerts will be held; the world and Russian theatrical celebrities will take part in them.
