The ballet troupe of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre named after D.A.Hvorostovsky finished its tour around the cities and towns of Great Britain. For about four months our artists have given more than 100 performances nearly in 20 cities and towns of the UK.

The tour programme was very diverse, some of the best masterpieces of Russian ballet classics were performed - “Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker” and “The Snow Maiden” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, “Romeo and Juliet” and “Cinderella” by Sergei Prokofiev.

For more than 10 years of successful tours the Krasnoyarsk troupe has won recognition of the sophisticated British audience, the skills of artists have many a time received the highest ratings from the British Media.

After a short rest, the ballet artists will already take the stage of their home Theatre on April 19. They’ll perform the ballet “Swan Lake”.
