Artists and executive managers of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre won new recognition of their creative merits. Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Alexander Uss granted awards today. The ceremony took place at the Krasnoyarsk regional government residence.

Honoured Artist of Russia Vera Baranova received the Hvorostovsky State Prize of the Krasnoyarsk Region in the field of opera art.

Honoured Artist of Russia, Artist Director of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Sergei Bobrov was awarded the Godenko State Prize of the Krasnoyarsk Region in the field of choreographic art.

The titles of Honoured Figures of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region were granted to the principal dancer of the ballet company, choreographer Olesya Aldonina and the chief accompanist of the theatre Dmitri Khodosh.
