On November 28, a concert called “Let Me In, Empyrean Guard...” will take place on the stage of the Big Academic Concert Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Arts. It’ll be dedicated to the outstanding graduate of the Institute Dmitri Alexandrovich Hvorostovsky.
The concert program was prepared by students and graduates of the solo singing and opera department of the institute. Among them there are soloists of the Hvorostovsky Opera House: Honoured Artists of Russia Vera Baranova and Oleg Alekseev, international competitions laureates Yekaterina Kochetova, Daria Frolova, Zoya Rzheplyanskaya, soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Musical Theatre Ivan Sosin, Dmitri Zlobin and Alexander Belopashintsev, soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Musical Theatre Ivan Sosin, Dmitry Zlobin and Alexander Belopashintsev, soloists of the Tebe Poyem choral group Elena Stromilo and Elena Nikutina, the academic department students Victoria Maslyukova, Violetta Grishko, Rustaveli Shandra, Denis Grechishkin and Pavel Antsiferov.
They’ll perform romances and arias from operas Dmitri Hvorostovsky sang revealing his exceptional talent, the works of such composers as Mozart, Verdi, Rossini, Bizet, Puccini, Rubinstein, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Sviridov. At the same time, a footage from the film about Dmitri Hvorostovsky will be shown.
