The Krasnoyarsk bass on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre

The soloist of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre Vladimir Komovich debuted on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in Giacomo Puccini's opera "Manon Lescaut" which premiere was held these days at Moscow. Performed by the Krasnoyarsk citizen the part of the Captain sounded, and opera singers with world names became his partners on the scene – Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov.

Vladimir KomovichVladimir Komovich stepped on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre in all six premier performances. To take part in this statement, the singer passed a large-scale casting before arts council of the Bolshoi Theatre and the director of the performance Adolf Shapiro.

"To work at the stage of one of the best theatres of the world moreover and with star partners is an enormous experience, responsibility and, certainly, a dream of any actor! – Vladimir speaks. – For me "Manon Lescaut" became some kind of examination which result bore in itself a special sense".

Let's note that after the premiere of the opera "Manon Lescaut", the Krasnoyarsk singer was invited to the Youth opera program of the Bolshoi Theatre.

"Manon Lescaut" – the opera in 4 actions on the libretto (in Italian) Ruggero Leoncavallo, Marko Prague, Domenico Oliva, Giuseppe Giacosy, Giulio Ricordi and Luigi Illichi based on the novel of the abbot Prevo "History of the gentleman Des Grieux and Manon Lescaut". This work – the first really successful creation of Puccini which brought to the composer international recognition.
