The VIII International festival "Parade of Stars at the Opera" comes to the end

The VIII International festival "Parade of Stars at the Opera" comes to the end. This year he has been devoted to the people’s actress of the USSR Elena Obraztsova and passed with assistance of the International academy of music of Elena Obraztsova.

"The Parade of stars at the Opera" on March 31 at the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre will be held  big final gala concert with participation of guests of the festival and soloists of the theatre.

This evening will step on the stage the soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre people’s actress of Russia Irina Dolzhenko, the soloist of the Maryinsky Theatre Askar Abdrazakov, soloists of the Buryat opera and ballet theatre Mikhail Pirogov and Sambuugiyn Batchimeg, the director of the International academy of music of Elena Obraztsova Elena Makarova, the soloist of the Klaipeda state musical theatre Thomas Pavilionis (Lithuania), Danil Saifullin (Spain) and soloists of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre people's artist of Russia Vladimir Yefimov, the honored actress of Russia Vera Baranova, Darya Ryabinko and Inna Spodina. The conductor of the concert – the honored artist of Russia Anatoly Chepurnoy.

The program of the concert has included arias from Mascagni, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Rossini, Mozart, Verdi's operas, etc.

We will remind, the VIII International festival "Parade of Stars at the Opera" takes place at the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre from January 26 to March 31. Within two months the best samples of world opera classics –“ Iolanthe” and "Queen of spades" of P. Tchaikovsky, "La Traviata" and "Aida"  G. Verdi's "Prince Igor" of A. Borodin, G. Puccini's "Tosca" have been presented to public. Return to the Krasnoyarsk scene of the opera of Verdi "Troubadour" and premiere "Marina Mnishek. Bow to Elena Obraztsova. Boris Godunov. The Polish act" from M. Mussorgsky's opera "Boris Godunov" in N. Rimsky-Korsakov's edition became a gift for the audience. Eminent opera singers and conductors whose names decorate posters of the leading theatres of Russia, Italy, Bulgaria and China have participated in these performances. Among them there are conductors Fabio Mastrandzhelo, Dmitry Yurovsky, Alexander Anisimov, Dmitry Volosnikov and Borislav Ivanov, soloists – Oleg Kulko, Askar Abdrazakov, Roman Muravitsky, Irina Moreva, Mikhail Pirogov and others.

Perhaps, the charitable marathon "Art for the sake of life" became one of the important actions which were taking place within "The parade of stars". It is the joint project of the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre and regional public charitable organization of the Krasnoyarsk territory "Boomerang of Good". Results of the marathon will be sounded on March 31 on closing of the festival. All proceeds will go for treatment of two children having oncological diseases.
