Felix Korobov to meet with the audience within the project Half an Hour Before the Premiere

Music director and conductor of the production of Jules Massenet's opera Manon Felix Korobov will hold a meeting with the audience before the second show of the premiere series at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. The maestro will talk with the guests in the format Half an Hour Before the Premiere at 5.30 p.m. on April 21.

This time, a key element of the project Half an Hour Before the Premiere will be not holding an expert lecture. but the audience interacting with one of the creators of the production. Principal Conductor of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre Felix Korobov will talk about the musical peculiarities and complexities of the opera Manon, his working on the production at the Krasnoyarsk Opera House, his interactions with the orchestra and opera artists; and he’ll answer questions of theatre’s visitors.

The premiere performances of Manon directed by Andrejs Žagars and Irina Lychagina will take place on April 20, 21, and 23. The leading roles of Manon Lescaut and Chevalier des Grieux will be performed by the principal singers of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Violetta Grishko and Valentin Kolesnikov, Anna Avakyan and Davit Yesayan.
