From January 26 to March 31 the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will be held the VIII International Festival "Parade of stars at the Opera." This year it will be dedicated to People's Artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova and will be supported by the International Academy of Music of Elena Obraztsova.
Elena Obraztsova is the prominent Soviet and Russian singer, opera director, actress and teacher, owner of one of the best mezzo-sopranos in the world. She was called "the golden voice of the Bolshoi Theatre." Extraordinary temperament, vocal art and the amazing beauty of the singer's voice sound enthralled and fascinated audiences. Elena Obraztsova has performed at leading opera houses of the world - Milan, New York, Tokyo, Vienna, Moscow, London, Madrid, Prague, etc. She shared the success of the greatest singers, including Montserrat Caballe, Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Renata Scotto , Makvala Kasrashvili, Vladimir Atlantov, Zurab Sotkilava etc. The singer gave master classes around the world - from America to Japan.
Festival "Parade of stars at the Opera" - is the unique opportunity for our citizens to get acquainted with classical art. To see favorite performances with soloists and conductors of leading Russian and foreign theatres.
During the two months before the public will perform famous opera singers and conductors whose names adorn the posters of the leading Russian theatres, Italy, Slovakia, Bulgaria and China. Among them are well-known conductors to the Krasnoyarsks Fabio Mastrangelo, Peter Feranec, Alexander Anisimov, Dmitry Volosnikov and Borislav Ivanov, soloists - Askar Abdrazakov, Roman Muravitsky, Makvala Kasrashvili, Irina Moreva, Mikhail Pirogov and others.
The festival program includes the best samples of world classical opera "Iolanta" and "The Queen of Spades" by Tchaikovsky, "Prince Igor" by Borodin, "Tosca" by Puccini, "La Traviata", "Aida" and "Il Trovatore" by G. Verdi.
Also at the "Parade" held two gala concerts with soloists of the International Academy of Music Elena Obraztsova and the Mariinsky and Bolshoi theatres, screening of the film-opera "Cavalleria Rusticana," directed by Franco Zeffirelli with Elena Obraztsova, Placido Domingo, Renato Bruzon, Fedora Barbieri , Aksellem Gall.
Do not go without premieres. The audience will be presented "Polish Act" from the opera by Modest Mussorgsky "Boris Godunov", which was not included in the statement of our theatre, but in it at the party Marina Mnishek once shone Elena Obraztsova.
