Composer Alexander Tchaikovsky celebrates his milestone birthday

Today, February 19, composer Alexander Tchaikovsky turns 80. A People’s Artist of Russia, professor, and Artistic Director of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, he is widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Russian music. The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre has enjoyed a long and fruitful creative partnership with Alexander Vladimirovich over the years.

Anastasia Osokina is a laureate of the Russian Competition of Pedagogical Excellence

Anastasia Osokina, soloist and tutor of the ballet company of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre successfully took part in the 2nd Sakharova Open Russian Competition of Pedagogical Excellence. She took 2nd place in the category Teachers of Vocational Education nominated in Teaching Folk Stage Dance.
