IV International Competition of Opera singers named after P.I. Slovtsov

The IV International competition of opera singers named after P. I. Slovtsov will take place in Krasnoyarsk From May 16 to May 23, 2017. This creative competition of the vocalists capable to show the talent, talent and skill performed by works, both classical opera repertoire, and romances, work of modern composers of the XX-XXI century.

Professional singers (male and female) at the age of 18-35 (inclusively), with musical education, students of musical educational institutions of higher and secondary professional education are invited to participate at the Competition.

The Competition is held in three rounds:

Round I is a qualifying round (held in absentia according to the video materials of the contestants)

Round II is an audition of the contestants with piano accompaniment;
- who qualify for a special prize named after P. Slovtsov  has to perform a romance by Russian composer)

Round III is performing of fragments from opera scenes with the artists of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre accompanied by the Theatre orchestra. The scenes ate staged by the participants of the Creative laboratory «NANO-Opera» of Moscow music theatre «Helicon-Opera».
