In March, artists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will tour the settlements of the western part of the Krasnoyarsk Region.

The tour will last from March 20 to 22. The team of the Theatre will visit the village of Novosiolovo (on March 20), the urban village of Balakhta (on March 21), and the village of Primorsk in the Balakhta district (on March 22).

Artists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present two productions at local cultural venues (the Novosiolovsky RDK, Balakhtinsky RDK, and Yenisei Cultural Centre in Primorsk). In the afternoon, residents of the Region’s settlements will have chance to see Sergei Prokofiev’s musical fairy tales for family viewing Peter and the Wolf and The Ugly Duckling. And in the evening, they’ll relax at the soloists concert The Enchanting Power of Spring. The concert spectators will hear wonderful melodies and soulful lyrics of Russian, Soviet, and modern Russian and foreign songs, as well as the most popular opera arias.

Opera singers Olga Monastyrshina, Aliona Zafran, Yekaterina Kochetova, Alexander Mikhaliov, Daniil Kosenkov, Alexey Pereprygin and ballet dancers Maxima Ugai, Yana Polkovnikova, and Konstantin Polkovnikov will take part in the tour.

Both the children's play and concert are directed by Marianna Kaydani; assistant director is Sergei Podovalov; Yekaterina Kochetova and Aliona Zafran will be hosts of the concert.
