Collecting of the troupe of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre took place. By tradition, the actors who proved most brightly in previous season were marked out by letters of thanks: from the governor of the Krasnoyarsk territory – the soloist of the ballet Kirill Litvinenko, soloists of the opera Darya Ryabinko and Anna Kiselyova, from Legislative assembly – the soloist of the opera Andrey Silenko, soloists of the ballet Olesya Aldonina and Demid Zykov, from the mayor – soloists of the opera Alexander Mikhalev and Evgeny Mizin.

General Manager of the theatre Svetlana Guzy presented the actors who filled up the troupe and told about plans for a new creative season which promises to be not less rich, than last one. The next event which expects theatre – participation in the II All-Russian festival of the military patriotic song "Crimean Wave" which will take place from September 9 to September 12 in Alushta where “The Last bow project” – evening of ballets on Victor Astafyev's works will be performed.

For the audience the theatre will open doors on September 23. Public will be shown the premiere of previous season the Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballet "The swan lake".

On September 26 and 27 on the stage of the theatre – concert experiment  "SlovZov-GALA". Production director of the concert – the diploma holder of the II International competition of young opera directors “NANO-OPERA", the top manager of ”Rosatom” Sergey Novikov.

In October the large international project devoted to the Year of literature in Russia and to the 70^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War – "The last tribute" will take place. Famous cultural figures of Russia and the abroad will take part in it. Within this project will pass evening of ballets on V.P. Astafyev's works and the concert devoted to memory of the writer. Astafyev's prose will be read by the People's artist of Russia Sergey Garmash.

In November the theatre will please the audience with the premiere of the opera "Medea" of Luigi Cherubini. This work is considered one of the brightest in world opera repertoire, it repeatedly produced on the most known theatre stages of the different countries. Now and the Krasnoyarsk public will be able to estimate this brilliant opera. The maestro from the USA – Sergey Hanukayev will conduct the orchestra.

On the eve of New Year the Children's model opera studio will submit the musical "Gold Princess" on the music of ABBA.

Also the traditional opera festival "Parade of Stars" waits for the audience. This year it will be devoted to the 90^th anniversary since the birth of Galina Vishnevskaya, and for the first time in our theatre will take place the International festival of modern choreography. We will note that festivals of the similar format aren't held by any opera and ballet theatre in the country.

These are not all events which the theatre prepared for the viewer – the public is waited by interesting projects, opera and ballet premieres.
