Italian languageis the music language as the majority of opera works were born in Italy. And that the opera was not simply beautiful singing, but the real theatre, actors need to understand the character, after all it is difficult to play, being guided only by the word-per-word translation or the literary translation adapted for singing.

The teacher from Italy, the leader of La Fenice theatre Aleksandra Bochkaryova helps soloists of the Krasnoyarsk opera to master Italian subtleties. She teaches singers to the correct pronunciation and features of the Italian style of execution.

"If the opera is written in Italian, and it is necessary to execute it in original language. Actors have to learn to sing correctly, but not to say the Italian text the Russian letters, – Aleksandra Bochkaryova speaks. – For a start we with singers read the text of the opera and we "correct" their Italian. We sort sense, the translation, style of language, phonetics and as it works specifically in the opera. The end result of our work – the correct sounding of the opera, and for this purpose actors have to sing not simply in Italian, but also think on it".
