Khan Konchak from the Novaya Opera Theatre

The Moscow Novaya Opera Theatre soloist, Honoured Artist of Russia Vladimir Kudashev will take part in the opera of Alexander Borodin "Prince Igor” on March 17, 2018.

Prince IgorThe singer is already known to the Krasnoyarsk spectators - he began his career in our theatre after graduating from the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts. Being a soloist of the Novaya Opera Theatre, Vladimir Kudashev kept singing in our theatre’s performances and many a time took part in the international festival “Stars Parade in the Opera”. Performances of the singer are always impressive and brilliant.

On March 17, Vladimir Kudashev will appear before the audience in the role of the Polovtzian khan Konchak. “This is the source of the most powerful energy and spontaneous power. Vladimir Kudashev added the image of the barbarian invaders’ leader with a keen eye, an ironic smile and enticing, kind of “cat” intonations”, music critics say about the artist’s performance of the role. His partner on the stage will be the ex-soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and now the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre artist, Sergei Osovin who’ll perform the part of Vladimir Igorevich. Also, our soloists will come on stage - Svetlana Ratslaf-Levchuk, Anna Gichik, Alexey Bocharov, Dmitri Ryabtsev, Nikolai Mishenev and others.

The opera “Prince Igor” is one of the most popular works among the Krasnoyarsk spectators. This is a bright performance of a large scale, it’s based on “The Tale of Igor's Campaign”. Nearly the whole collective of the theatre is involved into performing the opera - the choir, the opera and ballet soloists. More than 400 costumes were made for the performance - ancient military outfit and expensive furs and velvet hats for the characters belonging to the noble class.
