The National Theatre Award Golden Mask 2020 has resumed the competition interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, some of the festival’s performances will be shown to spectators and experts at the theatres where they were created. Among them is the production of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre: opera-buff by Francis Poulenc Les Mamelles de Tirésias.

Shows of the comic opera will take place on October 2, 3 and 4 in Krasnoyarsk in the Quadrat, at the address: Krasnoy Armii Street 10, building 4. It’s worth reminding that the premiere of Francis Poulenc's opera Les Mamelles de Tirésias is part of the contemporary performances project Art at the Quadrat and received four nominations for the prestigious Russian National Theatre Award Golden Mask in 2020.

The nominated categories are the Best Performance, the Best Conductor (the Principal Conductor and Art Director of the Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra Vladimir Lande), the Best Director (Art Director of the theatre, Honoured Artist of Russia Sergei Bobrov), the Best Female Part (winner of international competitions Daria Ryabinko).
