The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Mikhail Kotyukov issued an order to confer the title Honoured Figure of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region on Marianna Kaydani, a choreography tutor, head of the Repertoire and Planning Department of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Marianna Borisovna dedicated more than 30 years to the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre and the cultural sphere of the Krasnoyarsk Region. She started her artistic journey as a ballet dancer. For almost 15 years, she had worked as the head of the Theatre’s ballet company; since 2009, she’s been head of the Repertoire and Planning Department.
In 2007, she graduated from the Faculty of Folk Art of the Kemerovo State University of Culture and Art with honours majoring in stage direction of a choreographic group and teaching. She teaches classical and folk stage dance at the Krasnoyarsk Choreography College.
Marianna Borisovna is a stage director and production choreographer of lots of the shows and concert programmes of the Theatre. Since 2010, she has been director of the Maestro Invites project created by Principal Conductor of the Theatre Anatoly Chepurnoy. Since 2011, Marianna has been cooperating with the Krasnoyarsk Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church; she directs the annual projects Intercession Meetings, Christmas Readings, Easter Festival. Since 2015, she has been the director of the Theatre’s socially significant project Family as a Gift that promotes the fostering of orphans.
Currently, Marianna Kaydani is working on the project of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre named Krasopera. Duets as a choreographer and tutor teaching the basics of dance to married couples.
