On February 20, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre named will host the Ivan Karnaukhov benefit performance, an Honoured Artist of Krasnoyarsk Region and ballet coach at the theatre’s ballet company. This year marks the 25th anniversary of his professional career.

To mark the occasion, a meet-and-greet with the artist will take place 30 minutes before the night performance in the theatre foyer (2nd floor). Ivan Karnaukhov will chat with the audience, talk about his creative journey, and answer guests’ questions. The event starts at 6:20 PM.

That same night, the guest of honour will take the stage in the dramatic role of Pyotr Leontyevich, the father of the heroine, in the audience favourite ballet Anyuta, set to music by Valery Gavrilin.

The theatre invites everyone to join in the congratulations and meet one of Krasnoyarsk’s most prominent cultural figures in person. Admission to the meet-and-greet is free for all ticket holders.
