On June 15, principal singer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Mikhail Pirogov will perform at the Baikal Theatre in Ulan-Ude. This will be his Night Special solo concert. The National Orchestra of Buryatia will accompany him.
“The Baikal Theatre is my first theatre; my singing career began there. It always is a great pleasure for me to take the stage along with the national orchestra; this orchestra is the good memory for my soul and heart,” says Mikhail Pirogov.
The concert’s program includes arias from operas, Italian and Russian songs, as well as songs by Buryat composers. The opera singer, People's Artist of the USSR, Lenin Komsomol Prize winner Galina Shoydagbaeva will also come to the stage. As Mikhail Pirogov said, it’s a dream for him to perform on the same stage along with such an opera master and he’s eagerly looking forward to collaborating with her.
