The expert council of the Krasnoyarsk Theatrical Spring regional festival has released its list of nominees. The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre is represented in 12 categories.

Mikhail Leontiev for Alexander Tchaikovsky's opera To Love in Wartime;

Best Director's Work in Music Theatre:

Irina Lychagina for Alexander Tchaikovsky's opera To Love in Wartime;

Best Choreographer's Work:

Margarita Zima for Yekaterina Teryokhina's musical fairytale The Dreamer and His Friends;

Best Set Design in Music Theatre:

Maria Vysotskaya for Alexander Tchaikovsky's opera To Love in Wartime;

Daria Ryabinko for the role of Death in Alexander Tchaikovsky's opera To Love in Wartime;

Best Actor in a Music Theatre Production:

Sevastian Martyniuk for the role of Figaro in Gioachino Rossini's opera Il Barbiere di Siviglia;

Honoured Artist of Buryatia Mikhail Pirogov for the role of Calaf in Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot;

Best Supporting Actor:

Anatoly Badayev for the role of Dr. Bartolo in Gioachino Rossini's opera Il Barbiere di Siviglia.

The festival results will be announced at a ceremonial gala held on International Theatre Day, March 27, 2006.
