"Russian souvenir" for Switzerland and Belgium

April 28 at the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre there is gala concert "Russian Souvenir". This program is specially prepared for the international festival "Russian Cultural Seasons", which will be held at Switzerland. On May 26 our ballet troupe will perform at the Basel Musical Theatre. The Krasnoyarsk audience has a unique opportunity to evaluate this program first.

Each concert number is a small play. During the evening the audience will see the most famous pas de deux and scenes from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballets “The Nutcracker’, “Swan Lake”, “Sleeping Beauty” and “Snow Maiden’, choreographic pieces for the works of Mikhail Glinka and Sergei Rachmaninov, as well as a piece of ballet Sergei Prokofiev "Stone Flower" in the production of Yuri Grigorovich.

"Russian Souvenir" is our joint project with the Krasnoyarsk opera and ballet theatre, and we will be happy to present it to our viewers around the world. May 26 this program will first see the exquisite Swiss audience at Basel. Among the audience at the gala concert will be present future world leaders - participants of the European Congress JCI. It is very pleasant that young people from European countries will get acquainted with the fantastically bright theatre from Siberia. I am sure that the impressions of the "Russian Souvenir" will last lifetime, and everyone will take with them a piece of miracle, called Russian ballet. And already on May 28 the "Russian souvenir" will be seen by the audience at Belgian Antwerp".
