Soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre are awarded for achievements in the field of culture

Creative companies of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre received Letters of Gratitude from the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Alexander Uss for their active participation in the 29th World Winter Universiade 2019.

The Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region Arkady Zinov handed out the awards. The awarding ceremony took place in the Small Concert Hall of the Regional Philharmonic.

The Gratitude Letters from the Governor were received by the laureate of international competitions Aliona Babivskaya, laureate of international competitions Georgy Bolsunovsky, Yekaterina Bulgutova, Aliona Kiskina, Ilya Krivchikov, Kirill Litvinenko, laureates of international competitions Sevastian Martynyuk, Alexander Mikhaliov, Zoya Rzheplyanskaya and Eugeny Sevastianov, Honoured Man of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region, laureate of international competitions Andrei Silenko, chief choirmaster of the theatre, laureate of international competitions Dmitri Khodosh.

The artists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre took part in the spectacular opening and closing ceremonies of the Universiade. The soloists of the opera company were entrusted with the most solemn piece of the programme - the performance of the anthem of the Russian Federation. Besides, the vocalists and soloists of the ballet companies performed the vibrant Adagio by Tomaso Albinoni. Andrei Silenko and Zoya Rzheplyanskaya introduced the spectacular Yenissei and Angara piece to the opening ceremony spectators.
