Soloists of the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre will take part in the Swan Lake production

On the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, the prima ballerina of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre Ksenia Shevtsova and ex-principal dancer of this theatre Dmitri Sobolevsky are going to dance in the popular Tchaikovsky’s ballet.

Invited artists will perform the leading roles - Odile and Prince Siegfried - in Swan Lake on February 8. Ksenia and Dmitri have many times appeared on the stage of the Moscow Academic Music Theatre in this much-loved ballet.

Ksenia Shevtsova is a graduate of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet (the class of Irina Sitnikova). She took part in performances and concerts of the Academy in Russia, /Greece, Italy, Finland. Since 2012, Ksenia has been a principal dancer of the ballet company of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre. Her repertoire includes leading and solo parts in classical and contemporary ballets: Gamzatti (La Bayadère by Minkus), Mary Vetsera (Mayerling to the music by Liszt), Manon (Manon by Massenet), Poseuse (Cinderella by Prokofiev), Masha the Princess (The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky), Snow Maiden (Snow Maiden to the music by Tchaikovsky), Dolly (Anna Karenina to the music by Rachmaninov, Lyutoslavsky, Bardanashvili and Sulkhan Tsintsadze), Kitri (Don Quixote by Minkus, choreography by Rudolf Nureyev), Giselle (Giselle by Adam), and many others.

Dmitri Sobolevsky is well known to the Krasnoyarsk theatrical community: he graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Choreographic School in 2010 and was a principal dancer of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. Between 2012 and 2015, he was a principal dancer and from 2015 to 2022, he was premier danseur noble of the ballet company of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre. The repertoire of Dmitri includes the roles of Lucien (Paquita by Minkus), Basilio (Don Quixote by Minkus), Solor (La Bayadère by Minkus), Nutcracker Prince (The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky), Albert (Giselle by Adam), and other leading and solo parts.
