The artists of the Hvorostovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre were given honorific titles

On March 24, an awarding ceremony took place in the Great Hall of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Among the laureates are the artists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The principal dancer of the ballet company Kirill Litvinenko and the soloist of the opera company Alexander Mikhaliov received the titles of Honoured Figure of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region. In accordance with the Law of the Krasnoyarsk Region dated June 28, 2007 No. 2-190 “On Culture”, this honorary title is given to creative persons who have shown high professional skills for their merits in the development of culture and art.

The opera company soloist Daria Ryabinko was given the State Prize of the Krasnoyarsk Region in the field of opera art for her performances in the operas Les Mamelles de Tirésias by Francis Poulenc (as a female commissioner), Night at the Museum or Testament of the Master by Pyotr Pospelov (as Keeper), Yermak by Alexander Tchaikovsky (as Queen Maria Nagaya), Boris Godunov: Polish Act by Modest Mussorgsky (as Marina Mniszech).

The principal dancer Georgy Bolsunovsky received the State Prize of the Krasnoyarsk Region in the field of ballet art for his performance of the part of the Young Man in the choreographic mystery show Leningrad Symphony (Lamento) to the music by Alexei Syumak, Dmitry Shostakovich, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as well as various parts in the ballets Raymonda by Alexander Glazunov, Carmen by Georges Bizet, and Cinderella by Sergei Prokofiev.

The Governor of the Region Alexander Uss presented the silver badges Honoured Figure of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region and diplomas to the professionals of the cultural sphere and congratulated the awardees.
