On January 16, 2016 starts display of the long-awaited project "The Big Ballet" on Kultura TV channel. Part in the project was taken by soloists of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre Ekaterina Bulgutova and Yury Kudryavtsev. Programs will weekly air on Saturdays at 20.30. Leaders – Ilsee Liepa and Andreys Zhagars.

"The big ballet" is the project of the Russia K channel, competition, the first in the history of domestic television, in which 14 leading soloists of the largest musical theatres of Russia take part: Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Mikhaylovsky, the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre, the Perm academic opera and ballet theatre named after P. I. Tchaikovsky and the Tatar academic state opera and ballet theatre named after M. Dzhalil. The professional jury, as a part of which stars of the world ballet will estimate speeches of actors.

In the second season of the project the special attention is paid to modern choreography. Seven couples, 56 numbers, three eyelids of choreography. Neoclassics, vanguard, break …

TV viewers are waited by bright emotions, the bewitching beauty of dance and, of course, intrigue, what couple became the best.

Unlike the first season of "The big ballet" founders of the project made the format more strict. Only one couple has to win. Judges are faced by almost impracticable task – to choose the best among the equal.
