The Opera and Ballet Theatre celebrates its anniversary and gives gifts to the audience

The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will celebrate its 44th birthday on December 20 and 21. The programme of the festivities includes the traditional Prince Igor production, meet-the-artist sessions. And gifts for guests!

On its birthday, the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre gives the audience the opportunity to buy any tickets for half the price. This gift can be used for three days: December 20, 21, 22, 2022; as part of the holiday offer, tickets are also available for the January 2023 premieres: Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera Oprichnik and opéra bouffe Barbe-bleue by Jacques Offenbach.

On December 20 and 21, the audience is invited to see the Alexander Borodin's opera Prince Igor - the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre’s hallmark that appears in the theatre playbill every December. The audience should come to the Theatre thirty minutes before the performance begins: in the second floor foyer, they will have an opportunity to attend meetings with artists who has been taking the stage of the Theatre over the years, including the first day the Theatre opened its doors to spectators nearly 45 years ago. Larisa Vladimirovna Marzoeva, Natalia Nikolaevna Sokolova, German Timofeevich Efremov, Vyacheslav Ivanovich Nechipurenko, and Lyudmila Konstantinovna Shchapova will share theatrical tales, warm memories, funny stories, and curious facts with the audience.
