The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Abdylas Maldybaev Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre entered into a partnership.

The document subject is the collaboration for the development and popularization of opera and ballet art. It was signed: on the one hand, by Principal Director and Artistic Director of the opera company of the Krasnoyarsk Opera House Irina Lychagina (on behalf of Managing Director Svetlana Guziy), on the other hand, by Almazbek Istambaev, the head of the Kyrgyz Theatre.

The agreement comprises mutual strategic plans of both cultural institutions including the creation or performance of productions, concerts, other cultural, theatrical, and entertaining events, as well as the organization of the performances of theatrical artists. Enlightening and educational projects will also be an important part of the collaboration: festivals, conferences, forums, exhibitions, presentations, symposiums, round tables, seminars, master classes.

The partnership agreement between the Theatres of Krasnoyarsk and Kyrgyzstan was signed for five years: until the end of 2028.
