The 5th Nano-Opera International Competition for Young Opera Directors has announced the winners. The competition bronze winner Irina Gaudasinskaya received the special prize from the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The first place of the competition was given to Maria Fomicheva (Russia, Moscow), the second one - to Erenbak Toikenov (Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan), the third one - to Irina Gaudasinskaya (Russia, St. Petersburg). All young directors-winners received special prizes: directors who joined the competition jury offered them to stage performances in theatres the jury members are from. Artistic Director of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Sergei Bobrov fixed upon Irina Gaudasinskaya.

Principal director of NOVAT Viacheslav Starodubtsev as well chose Irina as a director of a performance. Experts from the Nano-Opera media jury also highly estimated her work: Yekaterina Kretova gave her the diploma for the Best Provocation at the Nano-Opera (the prize was an interview in the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper), Yossi Tavor presented Irina the prize from Radio Orpheus (a diploma and an invitation to take part in a radioshow on Radio Orpheus).
