The leading soloist of the ballet of the Krasnoyarsk state spera and ballet theatre Yuri Kudryavtsev became a laureate of the award "Soul of Dance". April 27 at the Moscow Musical Theatre named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, the editorial board of the magazine “Ballet” called the winners of the XXII annual award. Yuri Kudryavtsev is recognized as one of the best in the nomination "Rising Star".

The award "Soul of Dance" was established by the “Ballet” magazine in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Russia at 1994 for merits in the field of choreographic art. The award is annually awarded to masters of choreography, as well as to conductors, composers, artists, teachers. At different years it received such outstanding artists as Maya Plisetskaya, Yuri Grigorovich, Vladimir Vasilyev, Rodion Shchedrin, Nikolai Tsiskaridze.
