Filippo Dessi reaches finals of the Rachmaninoff Competition

Filippo Dessi, conductor of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, has advanced to the final round of the 2nd International Rachmaninoff Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors. The prestigious event opened on June 14 in Moscow, with the winners set to be announced on June 26.

Singers of the Krasnoyarsk opera company took part in masterclasses with vocal coach Dmitri Vdovin

The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre welcomed one of Russia’s most renowned vocal coaches, Dmitri Vdovin — Honoured Artist of Russia and head of the Young Artists Opera Programme at the Bolshoi Theatre. From June 17 to 19, he led a series of masterclasses for the Theatre’s opera company.

Anastasia Osokina is a laureate of the Russian Competition of Pedagogical Excellence

Anastasia Osokina, soloist and tutor of the ballet company of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre successfully took part in the 2nd Sakharova Open Russian Competition of Pedagogical Excellence. She took 2nd place in the category Teachers of Vocational Education nominated in Teaching Folk Stage Dance.
