Aleksandra Cherpakova

Born on April 15

Abakan. Between 2010 and 2012, Alexandra studied at the Ural State Conservatory. In 2018, Alexandra graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Institute oF Arts (the class of People’s Artist of Russia Vera Baranova). Currently, she is doing an internship there and teaching at the Faculty of Solo Singing and Opera Training. She’s a laureate of various Russian and international competitions.

From 2012 to 2014, Alexandra was a principal singer of the Chaptykov Khakass Republican Philharmonic. In 2013, she represented the Republic of Khakassia at the festival Days of Russian Culture in Germany (Essen), where she performed a solo chamber concert. In 2014, she took part in the festival of opera singers 19th Opera Days of TURKSOY (Istanbul, Turkey). In 2016,  Alexandra performed the leading role in the production of Chanar Khus, the first Khakass opera. In 2018, she gave a solo concert and took part in the concert Music for All Seasons in Abakan.

In 2014, Alexandra Cherpakova joined the opera company of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre as a principal singer. Since then, she has performed more than twenty various roles: she takes part in almost every premiere.

The concert repertoire of the singer is diverse: these are opera arias, excerpts from operas, romance song by Russian and foreign composers, old Russian romance songs, folk songs. Alexandra participates in all concert programmes of the Theatre: Maestro Invites, Femmes Fatales, Vivat, Rossini!, Christmas of Old Europe, Seven First Kisses, etc. In 2020, she performed in a concert in memory of Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Yekaterina Iofel at the Siberian Institute of Arts. At the same venue, she sang at the opening of the 12th International Festival Competition Hope, as well as at a concert presenting the Faculty of Solo Singing and Opera Training of the Institute (2021).

In 2017, Alexandra took part in Siberian Solo - the first creative laboratory of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre led by People's Artist of Russia Irina Dolzhenko.

She participates in all tours of the Theatre in the Krasnoyarsk Region and beyond. During the Theatre’s tour at the Bolshoi Theatre in 2022, he sang the role of Lakme in the eponymous opera.
