The libretto by F. B. Offman after the tragedy of P. Corneille of the same name (in turn, goes back to the tragedies of Seneca and Euripides). The Italian version of C. Dzangarini.
The best season premiere in the musical theater at the regional festival "Theater Spring - 2016". Also, the festival's laureates for this production were Evgeny Lisitsyn (“The best work of a lighting designer in a musical performance”), Irina Sidorenko (“The best work of an artistic director in a musical performance”), theater soloist Svetlana Ratslaf-Levchuk (Medeya) and Olga Basova ( Neris) - for the best female roles in opera performance.
The performance was included in the LONG-LIST Golden Mask National Theater Award (season 2015-16).
