Davit Esayan was born in Artashat (Armenia). In 2009, Davit entered the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. In 2013, he transferred to the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Arts at the Faculty of Music, the Solo Singing and Opera Training Department, class of Associate Professor, the People's Artist of the Russian Federation L. V. Marzoeva.
Between 2013 and 2020, Davit was a soloist of the choral ensemble Tebe Poem; he toured twice in Poland along with this choir.
Since 2018, he has been a soloist of the Siberian Male Choir. The Choir actively tours throughout the Krasnoyarsk Region, in Moscow and the Moscow Region, as well as in Kaliningrad and Syria.
Between 2017 and 2019, he was an assistant trainee of the Faculty. In 2019, he received a Post Graduate Certificate of Education and started working as a teacher at the Faculty of Solo Singing and Opera Training. In September 2022, he gained the qualification of Senior Teacher. Davit Yesayan's students are laureates of Russian and international competitions.
Since 2017, Davit has been a soloist of the Hvorotovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. He was trained in the second creative laboratory of young vocalists Siberian Solo (Krasnoyarsk, 2017). In 2018, he studied twice at the Anatoly Gusev School of Opera Singing in Milan.
At the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory in 2018, he took part in the concert Musical Stories performed by the Nekrasov Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments.
David toured in Norilsk along with the opera company of the Theatre in 2021.
At the 2nd Festival of Russian Opera in the village of Taltsy (the Irkutsk Region), he performed the part of Bomeliy in the opera The Tsar’s Bride by Rimsky-Korsakov (2022).
At the 11th International Opera Music Festival Breath of Baikal in May 2022, he performed the role of Alfred in a semi-stage production of Verdi's La Traviata in Irkutsk and Angarsk, as well as works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, and Puccini at the concerts of the Festival.
In May 2022, the concert The NOVAT Lights Up the Stars took place in Novosibirsk: the laureates of the 10th St. Petersburg International Opera Competition performed at it; Davit sang there the Calaf’s aria Nessun Dorma from the opera Turandot by Puccini and Canio's aria from Pagliacci by Leoncavallo.
At the Buryat Opera and Ballet Theatre, he performed the part of Vladimir Igorevich in the Borodin's opera Prince Igor (2022).
