The principal singer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Alexandra Cherpakova shared the stage with the soloists of the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky theatres at the show dedicated to the anniversary of the Republic of Khakassia.
A concert of opera stars dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Khakassian Republic was first scheduled for July 3, 2021, but the pandemic interfered with these grandiose plans: the event was postponed to the end of August.
A native of Khakassia, the young soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera House performed quite confident along with the guests from the capital city: Alexandra Cherpakova conquered the audience with her vocal virtuosity having performed Olympia's verses from the opera Les Contes d'Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach, as well as her sincerity while singing the song Khakass Land in her native language in a duet with Artur Marluzhokov, Artistic Director of the Khakass Republican Philharmonic.
“It is a great honour and happiness to be a part of such a significant and large-scale holiday. Sharing the stage with such star singers as Tatyana Pavlovskaya, Yulia Matochkina, Akhmed Aghadi, Svetlana Lachina, Alexander Shakhov is exciting and incredible; this is such a wonderful experience! Thanks to everyone: colleagues, maestro Vyacheslav Inkizhekov, Minister of Culture Svetlana Okolnikova, the Khakass Philharmonic Society, all organizers, the government of the Republic of Khakassia for this unforgettable event,” Alexandra Cherpakova shared her emotions.
Besides, the singer noted that Svetlana Okolnikova expressed her deep gratitude to the director of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Svetlana Guziy for her assistance in organizing the concert and cooperation between our regions.
