An intellectual quiz to take place within the festival Slovtsov. Postcriptum

The Russian opera festival Slovtsov. Postscriptum will take place from January 21 to April 16 at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre; and its programme includes the intellectual game Destinies Connected with Siberia.

The Theatre will hold a quiz dedicated to the famous Krasnoyarsk citizens who left their mark on the history of the country and the world: composers, artists, writers, scientists, patrons, athletes. The quiz participants will be asked 48 questions of various formats - texts, music, pictures. The QUIZ Club 48 Questions helped the game organizers make up tricky questions.

Two of the six rounds of the quiz will be related to the art of opera: one of them is dedicated to the centuries-old history of the Krasnoyarsk opera, another one - to the life and work of Pyotr Slovtsov, the "Siberian Nightingale". The team quiz will be held twice: on March 21 and April 3 (the venues will be announced later). Admission is free. If you want to take part in the game, book your seats via phone number 253-89-42.

Six teams consisting of six people will take part in the quiz. You can gather your team of 6 people or visit the event as an individual player - the organizers will find a place in one of the teams at the quiz.

The international opera festival Slovtsov. Postscriptum is dedicated to the centenary of the first opera company in Krasnoyarsk created by the famous tenor Pyotr Slovtsov. The festival opened in January with the premiere of Tchaikovsky's opera Oprichnik. Aida and Eugene Onegin have already been performed within its programme. The opera Lakme by Léo Delibes will be performed on March 26, Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades - on April 12 and 13. The opera forum will close with the concert Slovtsov Gala on 16 April.
