Anna Avakyan and Daria Ryabinko to join opera star Vasily Ladyuk in aconcert

On May 22, world-renowned baritone Vasily Ladyuk will perform in Krasnoyarsk in a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Joining him on stage will be Anna Avakyan (soprano) and Daria Ryabinko (mezzo-soprano), both soloists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The concert will take place at the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Hall and feature the Krasnoyarsk Academic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Lande. The programme will include iconic wartime songs from the famous Songs of the War Years cycle, once performed by Dmitri Hvorostovsky, as well as works by celebrated Soviet composers such as Alexandra Pakhmutova, Mikael Tariverdiev, David Tukhmanov, Yan Frenkel, Konstantin Listov, Mark Fradkin, and others.

Honoured Artist of Russia and soloist of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, Vasily Ladyuk performs regularly at the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres, Novaya Opera in Moscow, and internationally at venues such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, La Monnaie in Brussels, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Anna Avakyan and Daria Ryabinko will also appear on their home stage in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin on April18, singing the roles of Tatyana and Olga, respectively. Daria will return to the stage as Mallika in Leo Delibes’ Lakmé on May 11.
