Ballet and opera debuts in November 2024

In November 2024, artists of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will present their interpretations of the parts already known to the audience.

The show on November 3 will be crucial and very exciting for principal dancer of the ballet company Ksenia Krentovskaya: she will take the stage in the title role of one of the favourite productions of the Krasnoyarsk (and not only!) public, which won the Golden Mask award in 2023 - Catarina ou la Fille du Bandit. Ksenia has already performed a variety of parts in Catarina: in crowd scenes (gondoliers, the Graces), in the pas-de-quatre of friends of Catarina; and now she is going to embody the beautiful and determined robber herself.

In this ballet, Nikolai Mashukov (on November 2), Grigory Botenkov, and Bato Tushinov (on November 3) will also debut in the parts of Diabolino's friends; Konstantin Polkovnikov will perform for the first time in the tavern musicians pas-de-trois (on November 2 and 3).

In the contemporary ballet Dante's Catharsis to the music of modern composers, Anna Salenkova will make her debut in the emotional part of Cassandra on November 13. And in the evergreen classic - Adolphe Adam's ballet Giselle - on November 15, Alina Zyabkina will appear on the stage for the first time as Bertha (the leading character's mother) and Sakiho Kobayashi in the inserted pas de deux; on November 16 - Bato Tushinov as the gamekeeper Hans (who’s in love with the leading character), Valeria Ermakova - in the inserted pas de deux.

In November 2024, most of the debuts are in the ballet company. But there are also debutants in an opera show: On November 24, in Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera The Oprichnik, the charismatic bass voice of Anatoly Badaev will for the first time perform the part of Vyazminsky.
