Jacopo Tissi has been invited to perform the leading male part of the play - the artist Salvator Rosa. The original choreography of Catarina was created by the legendary choreographer Jules Perrot. It has been lost, but Honoured Artists of Russia Sergei Bobrov and Yuliana Malkhasyants have restored it, so now the young artist is remotely preparing for his role.

In 2017, Jacopo Tissi joined the Bolshoi Ballet Company, where he rehearses under the guidance of the outstanding choreographer and teacher Alexander Vetrov. The artist performs the leading and solo parts in the audience's favourite masterpieces of the classical repertoire: Désiré, Siegfried, Solor, Jean de Brienne, Romeo, Paris, The Nutcracker Prince, and others. Jacopo Tissi is also engaged in celebrated productions of contemporary composers, choreographers, directors: Nureyev by I. Demutsky, Orlando by E. Elgar; he took part in the world premiere of the Four Characters Looking for a Plot as the principal dancer in the pieces "The Ninth Wave" and "Silence".
Jacopo won the following awards: the Prix BALLET2000 in Cannes (France), the DANZA & DANZA Magazine Award in the nominated categories Italian Dancers Working Abroad and Rising Star, the Leonid Massine Award in the category Dancer of the Year at the International Scene (Positano, Italy).
