The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre’s soloist Ekaterina Bulgutova is awarded with the prize“Soul of Dance” founded by the “Ballet” magazine. Ekaterina is the best dancer in the nomination “The Star”.

The prize “Soul of Dance” was founded by the “Ballet” magazine along with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in 1994. The magazine grants it for the achievements in the art of choreography.  Masters of choreography as well as conductors, composers, artists, teachers are annually awarded with the prize. Over the years such eminent artists as Maya Plisetskaya, Yury Grigorovich, Vladimir Vasiliev, Rodion Shchedrin, Nikolay Tsiskaridze were awarded with it.

The artists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera were frequently granted the “Soul of Dance” prize, among them are the Artistic Director of the theatre, Honoured Artist of Russia Sergei Bobrov, the leading ballet soloist Yuri Kudryavtsev, ex-soloists of the theatre Anna Ol and Arkadiy Zinov.

The granting ceremony takes place in the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre on April 30, 2018.
