On December 21st, the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre soloists Ksenia Khovanova, Alexander Murashov, Alexei Bocharov and Alexander Mikhalev will take the stage of legendary “The Fifth Studio” of the “Kultura” TV Channel. Our artists’ performance is a part of the concert series “Irina Dolzhenko invites!” arranged by the Bolshoi Theatre’s singer, People’s Artist of Russia Irina Dolzhenko.

The Krasnoyarsk singers will be accompanied by the VGTRK Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments named after N.N. Nekrasov. This orchestra is a unique music phenomenon of the Russian multifaceted culture. It treasures memory of many generations, preserves and develops best traditions. It’s a creative collaboration of professional musicians - real enthusiasts who love their collective and passionately devoted to their common goal. Real stars of the Russian opera art performed along with the orchestra: Irina Arkhipova, Elena Obraztsova, Tamara Sinyavskaya, Vladislav Piavko, Yevgeny Nesterenko, Leonid Smetannikov, Zurab Sotkilava.

The Krasnoyarsk Opera soloists and Irina Dolzhenko will perform popular romances and famous opera arias as well as instrumental music. The orchestra will be conducted by the N.N.Nekrasov’s disciple and follower Andrei Shlyachkov, who carries on traditions and is always in creative pursuit.

It’s not the first performance of our singers along with the Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments. At the beginning of the year a concert took place in the Moscow Conservatory Grand Hall - one of the most famous concert halls in the world. Inna Spodina, Andrei Silenko and Dmitri Ryabtsev took part in it. This year in the spring Svetlana Ratslaf-Levchuk, Olga Basova, Alexei Sokolov and Evgeni Sevastianov performed in “The Fifth Studio” of the VGTRK (All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company), as well.
