There was not enough time before the start of the VII International festival "Parade of Stars in Opera" and we continue to acquaint with participants of this large-scale musical event. Today we represent without whom any performance or a concert doesn't do – maestro who subdued the best theatrical stages of the world. This year in "Parade" eight eminent conductors accept participation:
2 of February the opera "Aida" of G. Verdi will conduct the orchestra the maestro from Moscow, the conductor of the State symphonic orchestra "New Russia" under control of Yuri Bashmet – Denis Vlasenko, one of the brightest young Russian conductors. In 2008 he became the first Russian conductor debuting at the opera festival of Rossini in Pezaro (Italy).
On February 17 in Krasnoyarsk the famous maestro from the USA Sergey Hanukayev for the first time will act, he will conduct the premiere of this season – L. Kerubini's opera "Medea". "Always there are projects to which I show considerable interest. In December during the meeting with the head of the Krasnoyarsk opera theatre I was suggested to head musical part of the staging. This composition is quite seldom executed, and all that is executed seldom, always causes in me interest", – Sergey Hanukayev told in the interview to one of editions.
On February 21 will submit to the audience Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera "Eugene Onegin", the chief conductor and the musical director of the St. Petersburg state academic symphonic orchestra Peter Feranez (Slovakia) will operate the orchestra. Speak about the maestro: "… the master of the craft, at which conducting art – in finger-tips". In different years he was the conductor of the Slovak national opera, Bolshoi and Mikhaylovsky theatres, and since 2012 – the musical director of the National opera theatre named after L. Janacek in Brno (Czech Republic).
On February 28 M. Mussorgsky's opera "Boris Godunov" will conduct Dmitry Volosnikov ("the New Opera", Moscow) – the winner of the National theatre award of Russia "Gold mask", the invited conductor of the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre.
On March 2 during the opera "Queen of spades" of P. Tchaikovsky at the conductor's stand there will be the only female conductor of the festival Olga Nesterova – the artistic director and the chief conductor of the Chuvash state opera and ballet theatre. Olga Nesterova is bright representative of modern musical art of Chuvashia, author of extraordinary creative ideas and courageous projects.
One of the most demanded Russian conductors, the winner of the National theatre award "Gold Mask" Alexander Anisimov (Belarus) will operate on March 13 the orchestra during the performance "Prince Igor" of A. Borodin At different times the maestro cooperated with Valery Gergiev and Mstislav Rostropovich. World tours of Anisimov include performances in Grand Opera of Houston, the Opera San Francisco, the State Opera of South Australia, Staatsoper of Hanover and Hamburg, the Berlin Komische Oper, Grand Opera and Opera Bastille (Paris), and also at various festivals.
The finishing chords of "Parade of stars" will become the works of the Italian composer Giacomo Puccini "Tosca" and "Madam Batterflay" which will take place on March 19 and 24. Maestros from Italy will conduct performances: Fabio Mastrandzhello and Damian Iorio respectively.
Fabio Mastrandzhello can call the most famous Italian in musical circles of modern Russia as the invited conductor he cooperates with many theatres of the country. The maestro is already familiar to Krasnoyarsk citizens, he took part in "Parade of stars" and at once won recognition of public.
Damian Iorio – the conductor with the world name. He regularly participates in the international musical festivals and competitions, and also acts with various Russian and European collectives, among which London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra BBC, the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Netherlands Radio, the National Symphonic Orchestra of Radio of Italy (RAI), Estonian National Symphonic Orchestra, the Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic hall and the Icelandic Symphonic Orchestra.
