In the first quarter of 2021, The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet receives a bunch of stars - invited conductors, singers and instrumentists.

In April, the music director and chief conductor of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Dmitri Yurovski was invited to conduct The Queen of Spades by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

A group of guest musicians will delight Krasnoyarsk residents with a series of festive concerts in early March. Among the instrumentists of the concert Baroque. Opera. Love that’ll take place on March 3, there will be Moscow musicians: lute player Marina Belova and violinist Dmitri Kosolapov. The rare vocal art of the highest male voice - the countertenor - will be presented by the soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Vladimir Magomadov in the concert Belcanto Gala Or Women Time. Both concerts (March 3 and 8) will feature the soloist of the Tchaikovsky Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, soprano Natalia Kirillova.

Natalia is in Krasnoyarsk not for the first time: she already appeared on the stage of the Opera and Ballet Theatre in December 2020 in the concert Old Europe Christmas. She was born near Krasnoyarsk: in the restricted-access town of Zheleznogorsk.

“This is my homeland. Since childhood, I have pronounced these words with pride. And I am absolutely happy that there is an opportunity to cooperate with the Krasnoyarsk theatre now that I can do a lot for my hometown! As for the collaboration with Vladimir Lande, this will be my first experience, and I am sure it will be more than just interesting. I have performed along with Ivan Velikanov on the same stage several times already: these were concerts in Perm and Nizhny Novgorod. And now, here in Krasnoyarsk. He’s an incredibly talented and passionate artist, very spiritual person. This is really valuable. This time, we have conceived a beautiful, festive baroque programme about love,” - commented Natalia Kirillova on her return visit to Krasnoyarsk.
