On June 26, the guest artists from Moscow and St. Petersburg Anna Grechishkina and Sergei Kuzmin will again take the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre in the Lakme production.
They already sang on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theater in the March premiere performances of this Leo Delibes' opera: they performed the leading parts of Lakme and Gerald. They will also take part in Lakme that will be shown at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia on July 26. This event will take place within the tour of the Krasnoyarsk Opera House.
Honoured Artist of Russia Anna Grechishkina, a soloist of the Moscow Music Theatre Helikon-Opera, performed the part of the Indian beauty Lakme for the first time in March 2022.
Anna has been a principal singer of the Helikon-Opera theatre for more than 20 years. She is distinguished by spectacular vocal skills, outstanding acting talent, and stage presence. Over the years, she has performed more than 30 roles including Marfa (Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride), Susanna (Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro), Adele (Die Fledermaus by Strauss), Rosina (Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia), and many others.
Sergei Kuzmin has been a soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre (St. Petersburg) since 2018; he made his debut on that stage in 2016 performing the part of Rodolfo in La Bohème by Puccini. Now, he performs the leading tenor parts in the operas of Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, Tchaikovsky at this theatre; his repertoire includes about 20 roles. Sergei is the winner of the gold medal of the Seventh Youth Delphic Games of Russia (Novosibirsk, 2008), a participant in the sixth season of the Bolshaya Opera TV show of the Kultura TV channel.
