In early January, the Theatre’s musicians will present the festive Orchestra Formula

The third (in the 45th season) concert of the educational cycle dedicated to the orchestra of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will be introduced by its musicians on January 7 - Christmas Day according to the Julian calendar. Its programme was conceived as a festive one.

The programme was drawn up by concertmaster of the orchestra of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Dmitri Kosolapov. The concert will feature not only Christmas music, such as Arcangelo Corelli's Christmas Concerto. The orchestra musicians of the Krasnoyarsk Opera House will also perform the most popular and beloved works by Johann Sebastian Bach: Badinerie (the seventh part of the orchestral suite No. 2 in B minor) and Air (the second part of the orchestral suite No. 3 in D major).

The "seasonal" Antonio Vivaldi will certainly be performed: L'Inverno (concert for violin and orchestra No. 4 of the cycle Le Quattro Stagioni); soloist is Dmitri Kosolapov.

These melodies in different arrangements, often far from classical ones, were often performed in concerts, films, TV series and used as accompaniment for dancers and figure skaters. Now they sound like a Christmas gift for the guests of the Krasnoyarsk Opera Ballet Theatre.
