A formal awards ceremony honouring employees of municipal and regional cultural institutions took place in the Grand Hall of the Government of Krasnoyarsk Region. More than 90 professionals received state and regional awards for their contribution to the development of the cultural sector. Among those honoured were artists and staff members of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
The awards were presented by Arkady Zinov, Minister of Culture of Krasnoyarsk Region.
The Letters of Commendation of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation was given to opera soloists Yekaterina Kochetova and Ilya Krivchikov, as well as Polina Osipova, accompanist of the Theatre’s Children’s Opera Studio, and Andrey Silenko, opera soloist and Honoured Cultural Figure of the Krasnoyarsk Region.
The Letters of Commendation from the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Region were presented to opera soloists Yekaterina Kochetova, Ilya Krivchikov, and Andrey Silenko.
Certificates for financial awards granted to winners of the regional competition for outstanding creative professionals and employees of cultural and educational institutions, in the category For Personal Contribution to the Preservation and Development of Culture in Krasnoyarsk Region, were given to ballet soloist Yekaterina Bulgutova, Honoured Artist of Russia, and opera soloist Andrey Silenko.
"2025 has been an exceptionally eventful year for the cultural sector," Arkady Zinov said at the ceremony. "We organized major initiatives, festivals, and exhibitions; welcomed international stars and extensively toured ourselves; premiered new productions; invested heavily in construction and renovation projects; achieved success in competitions; and continued to learn and grow. The year has made us stronger and more united. As always, we lived it under the banner of #ARegionOfHighCulture, so that every resident of our region can proudly say they live in a place that is vibrant, inspiring, and worth calling home."
