The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre won a grant to participate in the federal social and cultural project We Are All Together. Within the project, the opera soloists will present touring concerts dedicated to the Year of Memory and Glory honouring the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 2020.
The concert programme will include Russian, military, and Soviet songs, as well as classical works: Farewell of Slavianka, The Sacred War, Small Blue Kerchief, Smuglyanka, Cranes, and other well-known and loved songs. They’ll be performed by the following soloists: Honoured Artist of Russia Oleg Alekseev, People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Efimov, Anna Kiseliova, Andrei Kolobov, Yekaterina Kochetova, Vyacheslav Nechipurenko, Natalia Plotnikova, Daria Ryabinko, Boris Sabirov, Honoured Artist of Russia Natalia Sokolova, Alexei Sokolov, Inna Spodina, Roman Khobta, the theatre’s choir singers and orchestra musicians.
Ten concerts Songs of Our Victory will be presented. They’ll take place in the Palace of Labour (Dvorets Truda), rehabilitation institutions of the charitable organization Boomerang Dobra (Kindness Boomerang), the Lebed Cadet College, regional healthcare institutions, boarding homes, and other social institutions of the city; the theatre’s artists are always welcome there.
The project We Are All Together is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and federal culture institution Roskoncert; it takes place as well in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other large cities of Russia: Astrakhan, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Chelyabinsk. The project’s concerts will be performed by honoured and young musicians, artists of opera and ballet theatres, drama actors, singers and chamber music ensembles, folk bands, pop artists, fine art experts and video art specialists, painters, artists, and designers. Spectators will have the opportunity to attend theatre performances, video lectures, listen to their favourite classical pieces of music, as well as music of Victory, and folk songs and dances.
As conceived, the project We Are All Together fulfils the task of integral rehabilitation - physical, social, psychological, creative, spiritual - of the elderly and disabled people, combat veterans, and other socially vulnerable population of the Russian Federation.
