The guest artist will appear on the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre in the opera Prince Igor by Alexander Borodin on December 21. Soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Ksenia Dudnikova will perform the part of Konchakovna in Krasnoyarsk for the first time.
Ksenia was born in Uzbekistan; she graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. For 10 years, she had been a soloist of the opera company of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre. In 2016, she made her debut at the Bolshoi Theatre in the part of Maddalena in Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto. Since October 2021, Ksenia Dudnikova has been a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre.
She collaborates with the leading Russian theatres including the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, Mikhailovsky Theatre, Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, UralOpera, Musa Cälil Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre, Kolobov Moscow Theatre Novaya Opera. She also performs on world stages: the Royal Ballet and Opera in Covent Garden, Paris National Opera, Dresden Semperoper, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Zurich Opera House, Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie (Brussels), etc. Ksenia took part in the festivals Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Arena di Verona, Salzburger Festspiele, the Sacred Music Festival in Riga.
She was nominated for the Golden Mask award three times for the roles of Amneris (Aida by Verdi) at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre in 2015, Carmen (Carmen by Bizet) at the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre, and Marguerite (La Damnation de Faust by Berlioz) at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, 2017.
Ksenia Dudnikova's repertoire includes more than 30 solo roles in operas by European and Russian composers (among them is the role of Konchakovna), as well as chamber and vocal concert works.
