The VII International festival "Parade of Stars in Opera" opened! And G. Verdi's opera "Aida" will become the first performance in the festival poster. Its display will take place on February 2 at 19.00.
"Aida" – one of the greatest works of world opera art, the late masterpiece of Verdi. In this monumental work the love and hatred, triumph and defeat, hope and death intertwine. Here reign not only big feelings, but also strong voices – in "Aida" are always sung by actors of "the highest league".
In Krasnoyarsk statement the main parts will be performed by guests of the festival. As the Aida the soloist of the State opera and ballet theatre "Astana Opera" Zhupar Gabdullina will step on the stage.
According to mass media: "The Kazakh Aida Zhupar Gabdullina tempted with voice of surprising coloring and volume", "… a voice at Zhupar perfectly processed in all registers to listen to it as the Aida – to derive pure not turbid pleasure!".
Radames's part will be performed by the honored artist of Russia the soloist of the Bolshoi theatre Mikhail Gubsky. The singer repeatedly participated in performances of the Krasnoyarsk opera and was fallen in love to public for a voice timbre, the most powerful scenic charm and virtuosity, rare on force and beauty.
One of the brightest young Russian conductors – Denis Vlasenko, the maestro of the State symphonic orchestra "New Russia" under control of Yuri Bashmet will operate the orchestra that evening. In 2008 Denis Vlasenko became the first Russian conductor debuting at an opera festival of Rossini in Pezaro (Italy).
We will remind, the VII International festival "Parade of Stars in Opera" takes place at the Krasnoyarsk state opera and ballet theatre from January 31 to March 30. This year it is devoted to the people's artist of the USSR Galina Vishnevskaya.
