June cannot do without “Maestro Invites!”. Do you want to get pepped and uplift the soul for the whole summer? Then, don’t miss the concert of our maestro Anatoly Chepurnoy on June 6 at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.   

It's no secret Anatoly Petrovich is a master of surprises. This time again he’s preparing a stirring concert programme, which will be very exciting and unusual! “I wouldn’t like to reveal all the secrets, but I can say the audience will be pleasantly surprised”, says Anatoly Chepurnoy. - “The artists who has never took part in concerts of the theatre will come to our stage”.

Still, we’ll slightly lift the veil of secrecy. In the Opera there will be dances! Not classical ballet or modern choreography our spectators are so accustomed to, but real ballroom ones! Accompanied by our orchestra and opera soloists, winners of the world championships in ballroom dances will take our stage for the first time. They’ll perform a driving rumba, a passionate tango, an elegant foxtrot and a romantic waltz. And aerial performers will fly up on special tapes over the stage, like birds, to the soundtrack of the movie Romeo and Juliet.

The concert will be a kind of musical excursion around the world. The audience will hear the most popular melodies and songs of Mexico, Argentina, Cuba, America, etc. Also, the maestro will conduct a theatrical quiz and check how well the audience knows the performances and the history of the Krasnoyarsk Opera.

And that’s not all. During the intermission, the concert programme will continue outside the auditorium - in the foyer, where the dance master class will take place. Everyone can learn the waltz and the cha-cha-cha dances during it.
