On the eve of the celebrations of Spring and Labour Day, the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Mikhail Kotyukov presented state and regional awards to residents of the Region. Among the recipients was Natalia Tsyupa, Head of the Children’s Opera Studio at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre and Honoured Cultural Figure of the Krasnoyarsk Region.
Natalia Vladimirovna has been serving at the Theatre and heading the O-Studio for a quarter of a century, since the year 2000. She was awarded the federal Medal For Service to Culture and the Arts, in recognition of “her contribution to the development of national culture and the arts, and for her many years of dedicated service.” The Medal For Service to Culture and the Arts was established by Presidential Decree No. 460 on August 9, 2021. It is given for outstanding work that enhances the role of culture and the arts in society, for the creation and promotion of significant cultural projects, and for the development of creative industries in Russia.
“You are all united by a shared desire to make our country better,” Governor Kotyukov told the honourees. “Behind each of you stands a team – people who walk alongside you and follow your lead. You take on difficult challenges. Thank you for your work and for being role models for many people. I congratulate you all on the upcoming holiday and ask that you pass on these words of thanks to those who work with you.”
In total, forty individuals and teams from across the Region – including healthcare professionals, educators, cultural figures, and employees of industrial and agricultural enterprises – received various federal and regional honours at the ceremony.
